The Cairngorms Rare Plants Project is a three year project, launched in March 2010, to deliver practical conservation action for four of the UK’s threatened plants at sites in the Cairngorms National Park.
The project aims to:
- Establish the location and current status of all populations of the four target species in the Cairngorms National Park;
- Raise awareness of the issues concerning their conservation and recovery;
- Work with land managers and project partners to develop and deliver beneficial management action for the target species at sites in the Park;
- Encourage local participation and involvement in the project.
