You can help with the work of the Cairngorms Rare Plants Project by:
  • Telling us about rare plant sites you know of, or come across, in the Cairngorms National Park;
  • Taking part in rare plant searches at locations throughout the Park;
  • Conducting simple baseline monitoring of local rare plant populations;
  • Becoming a long-term guardian of a local rare plant site.
Landowners and land managers please get in contact:
  • If you have sites for the target species on your land and would like to learn more about them and what you can do to conserve them;
  • If you would like to know if there are any previously recorded sites for these plants on your land;
  • If you would like advice on how to manage woodlands, heathlands and grasslands to promote plant diversity.
